This bacterium typically resides in the human respiratory tract without causing illness. However, if the body's immune system weakens, the bacteria can enter the bloodstream and cause infections in various vital organs.<\/li>\n<li>This disease is often found in at-risk groups, including young children under the age of 5 and the elderly aged 65 and over, as well as individuals with chronic underlying conditions such as heart disease, lung disease, kidney disease, diabetes, or those with weakened immune systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #12b24c;\">\u00bb What are the symptoms of IPV infection?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The symptoms of IPD are varied, depending on the organ targeted by the infection. The most common diseases are:\n<ol>\n<li>Sepsis (Blood Poisoning): This is a condition where the bacteria enter the bloodstream and spread throughout the body.
