» FEMTO LASIK และ RELEX CLEAR
- Lasik (laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis) is a type of refractive surgery for correcting vision problems. During the procedure, a surgeon uses a special type of cutting laser to create a thin, circular flap in the cornea. The surgeon then folds back the hinged flap to access the underlying cornea, which they reshape with an excimer laser. The flap is then laid back in place, where it adheres without stitches. This method results in less irritation for the patient. The smooth edges of the incision ensure the corneal flap is uniform in thickness, which helps to better prevent flap displacement compared to older methods.
» RELEX CLEAR
- A state-of-the-art technology for treating myopia and astigmatism uses a laser and a minimally invasive, bladeless surgical technique. The procedure utilizes a Femtosecond Laser to create a small lens-shaped piece of corneal tissue called a lenticule. This lenticule is then removed through a small incision measuring just 2-4 millimeters. Once the lenticule is removed, the cornea reshapes itself according to the pre-determined prescription.
Advantages of RELEX CLEAR
- The surgery takes less time than other methods, making the patient feel comfortable, not tense, and not feel pain during the surgery. After the surgery, the eyes will be less irritated than other methods.
- Reduce the chance of side effects such as dry eyes and glare.
- It is very safe because the laser light has a very low energy level.
- The wound is small, the cornea is strong.
