Q : วัคซีนป้องกันไอพีดี (IPD)
A : IPD (Invasive Pneumococcal Disease) คือโรคติดเชื้อชนิดรุนแรงที่เกิดจากเชื้อแบคทีเรียชื่อว่า นิวโมค็อกคัส ซึ่งหากเชื้อนี้รุกรานเข้าสู่กระแสเลือดหรืออวัยวะสำคัญ จะทำให้เกิดโรคร้ายแรง เช่น
1.เยื่อหุ้มสมองอักเสบ: อาจทำให้พิการหรือเสียชีวิตได้
2.ติดเชื้อในกระแสเลือด: อันตรายถึงชีวิต
3.ปอดอักเสบ (ปอดบวม) ชนิดรุนแรง
Q : ใครบ้างที่ควรฉีดวัคซีนนี้?
A : 1.เด็กเล็ก : โดยเฉพาะเด็กที่อายุต่ำกว่า 2 ปี เนื่องจากภูมิคุ้มกันยังไม่แข็งแรง
2.ผู้สูงอายุ : 65 years of age and older.
3.ผู้ที่มีโรคประจำตัว : เช่น โรคปอดเรื้อรัง, โรคหัวใจ, เบาหวาน, หรือผู้ที่มีภาวะภูมิคุ้มกันบกพร่อง
Q : วัคซีน IPD มีกี่ชนิด?
A : 1.PCV (Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine): เช่น ชนิด 10 สายพันธุ์, 13 สายพันธุ์ หรือ 15 สายพันธุ์ ตัวนี้มักใช้ในเด็กเล็กเพราะกระตุ้นภูมิได้ดีและสร้างความจำในระบบภูมิคุ้มกัน
2.PPSV23: ป้องกันได้ 23 สายพันธุ์ มักใช้เสริมในผู้ใหญ่หรือเด็กโตที่มีความเสี่ยงสูง
Q : ผลข้างเคียงที่อาจเกิดขึ้น?
A : 1.มีไข้ต่ำๆ
2.บวม แดง หรือปวดบริเวณที่ฉีด
3.เด็กอาจมีอาการงอแงหรือเบื่ออาหารชั่วคราว
